
As you may have guessed, nothing tickles me more than to get to style a musician. Fashion shoots are definitely fun, because the model has to wear what you tell them to wear...but a girl loves a challenge. How much more fun is it to help a person express themselves? In those cases, I have to get them into clothes they love, make sure they are conveying the right thing, and mostly, make sure they are hot.
In the case of Cariad Harmon, it was all actually very simple: sifting through her own vintage finds to pick out the most flattering and most unique pieces...adding a belt to show off that glorious hour-glass figure, and she's ready for set. Set was the beaches of long-island and a fantastic Mustang we came across. Our photographer of choice was Rich Miceli who really has an eye for portraiture...always adding in elements of the surroundings, creating a context for his subjects.
So you should hear her play.
