Couture week

 Lacroix
It was Couture week in Paris last week...oh, would that I could be there!
Of course, it really is all about the artistry...and trying new things. Couture is the height of technique, construction, and imagination. There are no limitations put upon the designer such as cost, reproduction, and 'wearability'. This is why it's fun, and this is why it leads the way for ready-to-wear. What we see in stores much later down the line is the toned down version of these ideas. the version that is easily mass-produced, and appropriate for the average gal to wear down the street.
So here are some pics of pieces that caught my eye. Enjoy!

If you could wear one outfit there, which would it be?
