I'll tell you right now that i am already behind on writing my reviews for fashionweek. Somehow, i think I may have beitten off more than I can chew...so patience, my friends.
Yesterday started off in the dreamy etherial world of Koi Suwannagate, who deftly captured my imagination with layers upon layers of tonal gauzy fabrics with touches of sparkle and flashes of brightly colored butterflies and embroidery.
It was as if I had stepped into a misty preraphaelite painting with Ophelia laying inert in the glassy waters of a pond, butterflies fluttering above her, and leaves gently floating around her face.
The collection was mainly in soft neutral tones with layers of different textures playing off each other. There was a lot of amazing diamante and frayed ribbon jewelry pieces to capture the eye, as well as hot fuscha pink scattered here and there to jolt the heart. I especially loved a gown that featured colorful butterflies in the skirt floating under layers of creme tulle.
Yes, I adored Koi, and I sure do hope to style a misty dreamy beautiful fashion story in the up coming months.
