Politics in Fashion

It's only fitting...
My last Guerrilla Art post was of a Shepard Fairey joint of Barack Obama on Housten Street in New York. I had actually spotted it ages ago, but only recently found the time to photograph it. Well, now he is the democratic nominee, and he will be getting my vote. Whereas I believe his policy is rather centrist, I still think that he will represent change in this country.
So now, like anything in pop-culture, the Fairey poster has spread like wild fire. Get your T-shirt at Urban Outfitters now. My brother in France has already requested his, so he can represent.
And by the way...I know we all like to rock the latest fashions, but we all know it's fashionable to rock the vote. I do so hope you all intend to get to the polling stations, but in the mean time, lets allll keep a watchful eye that everyone gets a fair vote. It's a little known fact that the black vote is often shafted...Let's not let it happen this time.
