Wow...gotta love the internet 'leaks'. Racked has posted 10 looks from the McQ for Target lookbook that someone had scanned. Personally I am very excited about how this collection is looking, and I imagine the buzz has multiplied exponentially. Nothing wrong with a little leak when it ensures we will all be at Target on March 1st when the collection finally drops.
Yeah, I think I'll be in a bit of a frenzy, as this caters perfectly to my personal style aesthetic. Feminine looks tempered with a punky edge and the influence of menswear. I love short dresses, some studs, oversized mens shirts, and edgy jackets. I am happy to see the McQueen kimono inspired draping, and the graphic geometrics that have been dominating the runways of late. I am still obsessed with grey as a base neutral tone (which my entire wardrobe now revolves around), so the skinny grey jeans are a perfect place to start. The prices will be a smidge more expensive, ranging from $30 to $130. But don't worry, I think it all looks well worth it, and I can't wait until someone leaks the rest of the collection for us all to drool over.
